Padua Health & Wellness Week

Promex, the Special Agency of Padua’s Chamber of Commerce, is organizing the Padova Health & Wellness Week, from 11th to the 16th of November 2018 an initiative falling under the scope of Padova – Looking Ahead and Beyond project, which will take place from 11 to 16 November 2018.

The Padova Health & Wellness Week aims at promoting the excellence achieved by local businesses, scientists and researchers in the health & wellness sector, while also encouraging awareness of the cultural and artistic heritage of Padua and its surroundings. Padua has numerous examples of women and men who were pioneers and precursors in the field of medical sciences, like Vincenzo Gallucci who made the first heart transplant operation in Padua, Gino Gerosa who performed the first Italian robot enhanced coronary bypass on beating heart, the first university degree in Pharmacologist Sciences in Italy set up in 1931 and of course the first world’s permanent anatomical theater dating from the 16th century.
The event – a fully sponsored delegation will be an opportunity to showcase the city of Padova and its excellence to some thirty foreign guests, including buyers, journalists and researchers from all over the World.
