About Us

ITALIAN TRADE AGENCY

The Italian Trade Agency (I.C.E. in Italian) is a public body with the task of promoting, facilitating and developing Italian commercial trade with other countries in the world, supporting the internationalization of Italian firms and their consolidation in foreign markets. I.C.E. activities are financed by public funds with the Ministry of Economic Development providing both directives and supervision, and, to a lesser extent, by the companies that use its promotional services in terms of advice, information, and assistance.

Getting to Know the Markets through I.C.E. Information Service
The acquisition of information about markets and trading opportunities is the first step companies must take in order to select areas and forms of intervention abroad. I.C.E., with its network of offices all over the world, collects information through continuous monitoring of commercial flows and investments and processes data provided by Italian and international organizations, like the Bank of Italy, ISTAT, U.N., and the World Bank.

To Find Inroads and Create Roots In International Markets
Market Analysis (personalized market research, information on surveys on products, etc.); Assistance and Operational Support (research on other parties, confidential information on potential partners’ reliability and solvency, setting up meetings with other selected parties, carrying out procedures according to local regulations); Company Promotion (advertising, company and product presentations, setting up symposia and press conferences) are just some of the services I.C.E provides in order for your business to thrive in foreign markets.

Be Present in International Markets with I.C.E. Promotional Activities
Through international fairs, missions by exporters, congresses, communications and other initiatives in the Public Promotional Programme, I.C.E. increases business opportunities and supports companies to create roots in foreign markets, propagates the ‘Made in Italy’ brand and promotes industrial collaboration and foreign investments in Italy.

Multilateral Co-Operation
I.C.E. assists Italian companies in activities of international co-operation to facilitate access to financing by international organizations, stimulate joint-venture opportunities, and facilitate industrial and technological partnerships.

THE ITALIAN TRADE AGENCY OFFICES IN INDIA

The Italian Trade Agency (I.C.E. in Italian), active in India since 1971, has two main offices in the Subcontinent: New Delhi and Mumbai. The office in New Delhi acts as the coordinating structure for the entire Indian market.

The Indian offices of the Italian Trade Agency organize the participation in main trade fairs and exhibitions; promote Italian products, organize training courses, technological conferences, workshops, seminars, and create advertising campaigns.
